Well if you’re an entrepreneur, or if you’re looking to become one, let me give you some of the most valuable advice that could ever share, while building a company that helps people just like to make money only…
You see, there’s one primary difference between businesses that are making $2,000/Mo, and those that are making $200,000/Mo or more.
On the other hand,
A real business has the ability to predictably, and profitably acquire attention, traffic, and customers on demand through paid advertising.
If you’re spending your day posting on social media or your blog hoping someone will come to your website and buy your product or service, you don’t have a business.
You have a very inefficient and ineffective hobby.
That’s it. One person has a business, and the other person will flounder in frustration until they figure this out, or quit.
Which person would you like to be?
The answer is obvious, so how do you make that transition from amateur to professional?
Well there are two parts to the “traffic” equation… The first is the content/creative… This consists of the creative assets required to run an advertising campaign such as your ads, landing pages, sales copy, and the product or service.
The second piece is the setup and management of the traffic campaign itself… Selecting the right audience, ad types, split-testing, budgeting, etc…
Now here’s what’s really important…
These are two completely different skill sets, which are best pursued by two different people. One requires an extremely creative brain type, while the other thrives in an analytical, spreadsheet based world.
You will rarely ever find one person who’s great at both aspects of running an ad campaign.
So the first thing you need to do is figure out which piece of the puzzle you’re best at, and then outsource the other.
I have few ideas how to run a FB ad campaign. Nor do I want to know how. So I focus on what I’m best at, which is creating world-class products like this, services, and content, and I let someone handle the actual traffic part.
The results produced by this approach can be spectacular.
With that being said, you’ll need to work with your “traffic guy/gal” to create ads and marketing pages that convert cold traffic into paying customers.
This is an extremely important skillset that will make or break your campaigns, so the best way to figure out what works, is to learn from other entrepreneurs who are already running successful campaigns.
